Melanie Tucker

13 years travel experience born in the UK but brought up in Cape Town South Africa.

Melanie started her career working for Lawyers as a personal assistant after which she was then offered a job at RCI International where she spent 2 years in Cape Town doing timeshare exchanges and international travel.

Having experienced the wonders of the travel market Melanie got itchy feet and headed to London to do further work within the Travel Industry. Her Journey started in the Leisure market working in Hammersmith for Thomas Cook.

On completion of her role on the high street, Melanie moved into Business Travel working for American Express. Here she was responsible for many corporate clients who travelled all over the world taking in many different aspects of the travel market. After 3 years of Amex, Melanie returned back to South Africa where she spent 1 year in Cape Town, 6 months in Johannesburg and 1 year in Durban. All the while working in different Travel Agencies around South Africa.

Returning back to the UK in 2004. Her last Travel Job was at BCD Travel (formerly the Travel Company) working with clients such as Universal Music and Pictures in the Entertainment section. Her last port of call the lovely island of Jersey.

Melanie's Interests include travelling, skiing, reading and dog agility.
